This year’s Greens for Good Charity Golf Event will benefit Work Vessel for Vets (WVFV), a CT-based non-profit working to equip Veteran entrepreneurs. WVFV has served over 3800 Veterans with support for business enterprises or career education. The WVFV supported businesses have created 3,000+ new jobs and made a positive economic impact over $14 Million. This year’s Greens for Good will raise funds to support three Veterans with equipment to further their business ventures.

More than 15 years after starting a home healthcare business fresh out of college, Change Inc. President Derrick Gibbs Jr. is shifting his sights to a new industry — cannabis. Partnering with an industry veteran, a team of social equity entrepreneurs and a Chicago-based multistate cannabis business operator, Gibbs said he hopes to open five recreational marijuana dispensaries in the state in the next few years.
